Analysis Toolpak not accessible from data tab of ribbon in Excel 2007.

Office Version: Office 2007 Operating System:Windows XP


Windows XP, Excel 2007, (12.0.6535.5002 SP2), stand-alone, without the rest of MS Office.
Analysis Toolpak is installed, active, and is listed in Excel Options, Add-Ins as an active application add-in.
No data analysis options show on the data tab of the ribbon, or anywhere else.
I have no way of getting to any of the functions in the toolpak.
How may I access these functions?

I'm sure you've figured it out by now, but if not, here's how to circumvent this glitch:

First, make sure the add-on is enabled.
In the "Options" menu, click "Trust Center" and then "Trust Center Settings..."
Click "Add-ins"
If the "Disable all Application Add-ins" option is checked, then that's your problem.
If not, check the box and then click "OK" to close the Trust Center Settings and then click "OK" again to close the Excel options.
Now, close Excel and then reopen it.
Go back into the Trust Center Settings and UNcheck the "Disable all Application Add-ins" check box.
The add-in should now appear as intended.

Run CHKDSK

• Go to the Start button.
• In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• Restart your computer.
