Cannot connect Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000

Hello,
I have bought Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 about 1 year ago.
On my MacBook Pro computer I have three operating systems installed: MacOS, Windows and Ubuntu.
I often switch between Windows and Ubuntu and once in a while I boot Mac OS.
Unfortunately
my mouse cannot memorize all of them and I have to reconfigure the mouse in Bluetooth settings every time I change from one operating system to another.
Recently I have booted into Ubuntu, configured the mouse and worked happily for some time.
Later in the day I have rebooted into Windows 7 and tried to configure the mouse, but failed.
I have had similar problems before, but after some rebooting and "boogie
woogie" with adding/removing device from the system it worked after all.
This time I cannot succeed.
Symptoms are the following.
After using mouse with Ubuntu, mouse is not recognized and does not connect, despite the fact that it is in the Bluetooth devices list.
Therefore I remove it from the list by right-clicking and selecting "Remove device" and confirming
the action in the dialog box.
After few seconds the device disappears from the list altogether with the dialog running the progress bar.
Then in order to add it back I bring mouse into discovery mode by clicking on the button next to Bluetooth symbol on the
device and click "Add a device" in the Bluetooth Devices dialog.
After some time Windows finds the mouse, which I select and click "Next".
On the next screen I choose to "pair without using a code".
Again after some time the device seems to be added, the dialog
box comes to the last stage "This device has been successfully added to this computer" with "Close" button and somewhere in background Windows installs Bluetooth HID Device drivers.
At this point normally mouse should bring itself back to normal operating mode (so happens with other devices) and I should be happily using it.
However, this does not happen - mouse stays in discovery mode and cursor does not follow it.
New icon for the
device appears in the list of Bluetooth Devices, but disappears on its own after 1-2 minutes (sometimes even less).
I have tried installing/reinstalling the mouse a number of times, rebooting computer, restarting the mouse, taking the batteries in and out,
disabling/enabling Bluetooth on my laptop and other, but it all fails.
Note that I have never had any problems pairing the mouse with my laptop after a fresh Windows install.
Please guide me how should I solve my problem.
Is there some way I can reset mouse memory that keeps pairing information? How can I completely erase information about the mouse from the Windows, so that it behaves in a way as it have never seen the mouse
before? Is there a more convenient way to share the configuration between several operating systems than reconfiguring the mouse every time?
Some info about my system: MacBook Pro (v6.2), Broadcom Bluetooth 3.0 USB (it's actually embedded, but Device Manager suggests this name), Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit, MacOS Snow Leopard.

Run CHKDSK

• Go to the Start button.
• In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• Reboot your computer.
